Merry Christmas all! And Guess what?!?!?!? I have my dvds!!! I'll most likely look them over in their entirety later this week so I can work out which one I want to do first. Hmm, I never did say what dvds I ordered/have now! I'll have to unpack them again and let you know later!
I made a low-to-no-fat version of mac n cheese (whole wheat elbow macaroni, fat free cheese, skim milk, a couple of pads of light margarine, one chopped yellow onion, black paper, a little season salt, egg whites, garlic powder), sliced sweet potatoes with splenda, honey, low fat margarine, nutmeg, and cinnamon and baby carrots with the same. Both were instead of the butter and brown sugar I usually use. Rather than my mom's 7-UP Pound cake, I bought an Angel Food Cake and for each slice I have a little bit of melted strawberry jam and a splurge of low fat RediWhip! :D
I think I did pretty well and I've done well so far this 2nd week. I just ate a couple of apples because I haven't had any fruit yet today. I need to get a cup of milk though. I didn't actually EAT until dinner at a quarter to 5pm!!! I've been awake and moving around since about 8am so that's a pretty long time to just have water and vitamins. It was the same issue yesterday. I'd been up since 7 and the first thing I had was a small coffee and a donut. About an hour later I had an apple. After that, about 4 hours later I finally had some of that chili I mentioned making in an earlier post and a bit of rotissierre chicken. And more water.
So yeah. I'm doing good! And I'll let you know about those dvds!!!
